Blog Image Context How To Choose Relevant Blog Images
Blog Image Context How To Choose Relevant Blog Images It was mid-harvest time, and the air was getting colder. I was strolling with a companion down the road, making a beeline for that eveningââ¬â¢s ensemble execution. As we passed by the district prison on the contrary side of the road, I halted. I was unable to accept my eyes. ââ¬Å"Look at that!â⬠I said to my companion. I highlighted the south passageway of the prison building. Presently I realize that it is ordinary to see picture takers with their customers making the rounds, shooting photographs in rear entryways, the center of the road, parks, and particularly our state legislative hall grounds library which has taking off two-story Ionic sections and is about the main spot around here that you can get that sort of compositional foundation. Yet, I concede I was astounded to see a picture taker out shooting a pregnant lady in a cylinder top on the means of the area prison. ââ¬Å"What are they doing?â⬠my companion inquired. ââ¬Å"I envision she is having some pregnancy photographs taken. You know, the ones that show a child bump.â⬠ââ¬Å"But why before the jail?â⬠ââ¬Å"I expect they need the Art Deco design in the background,â⬠I stated, trusting it wasnââ¬â¢t in light of the fact that the babyââ¬â¢s father was inside the prison or that she was setting up some awful unavoidable outcome of where her youngster would wind up. ââ¬Å"Iââ¬â¢m not certain the nuance of the Art Deco components is extremely justified, despite all the trouble in the event that you need to utilize the prison as the background.â⬠Our conversation proceeded as we strolled to the show, going from how cool it is wear a cylinder top on that crisp night to the proclivity for Art Deco to spring up in North Dakota design. Yet, Iââ¬â¢ve contemplated that episode a great deal from that point forward, gauging the photographerââ¬â¢s choice to go for an intriguing foundation for her photograph and deciding to overlook the setting that foundation gave. Not every person would realize the photograph was before the prison, yet many would. Each picture conveys, and needs, setting. This is significant with regards to picking ground-breaking pictures for your blog entries. Each Image Needs Context Benevolent pictures stock photographs best case scenario convey almost no setting past that of you getting a photograph for your blog entry since you know itââ¬â¢s a best practice to have one. The issue is that even that apparently harmless setting can neutralize your incredible blog entry, proposing that the duplicate that accompanies this plain vanilla picture is similarly as unexciting. Each picture needs setting and has its own specific circumstance, and the entirety of this can work possibly in support of your blog entry and the probability that somebody will understand it. 1. An image merits a 1,000 words. Any words. Words usually can't do a picture justice. In any case, which thousand? All alone, a photograph expect the setting the watcher is generally OK with. Uncommon is the picture that canââ¬â¢t be deciphered contrastingly relying upon what the watcher brings to it. One watcher sees intricacy while remaining before a Pollock painting, and another sees the handicraft of a kindergartner gone distraught. That equivalent work of art summons various responses, as well, contingent upon whether it is hanging in a workmanship exhibition or on the mass of a grade school. Half a month after the prison photograph shoot, I met a companion for espresso. To straighten something up, I asked her what she would accept in the event that she saw the region prison out of sight of infant knock type photograph. ââ¬Å"Iââ¬â¢d accept the dad of the child was in jail.â⬠ââ¬Å"Really?â⬠Her response shocked me, yet perhaps she was right. My supposition had been that the Art Deco components were the objective, yet of course, my major was in workmanship and thatââ¬â¢s how I see everything. Pollockââ¬â¢s painting will consistently be hanging in an exhibition for me. The setting of yourâ images characterizes the substance where theyà appear.Consider your crowd. Think about your blog. The thousand words that your picture adds to your post probably won't be the thousand you were focusing on the off chance that you donââ¬â¢t consider who is perusing and the blog it is being perused on. Tip: these days where it appears as though everybody is hoping to be insulted, consistently survey the pictures you select for your blog entries. While you canââ¬â¢t please everybody (and you donââ¬â¢t need to, on the grounds that that prompts flat, flavorless substance), get a lot of open-minded perspectives on the symbolism and ask them what they think when they see it with your blog postââ¬â¢s feature and in the wake of perusing the blog. 2. The words you put with a picture changes its effect. Moving past the thousand words that your picture carries with it, you can incorporate words with pictures to change its effect. This works best with adaptable or fringe pictures, those that are delineating a theoretical idea or situation that could be utilized loads of ways. These are amazing pictures since they bring out peruser interest (which weââ¬â¢ll talk about in a piece). Be that as it may, they additionally must be surrounded into appropriate setting or disarray emerges. For instance, envision a picture of a kid, head down at a school work area. What does that picture mean? On the off chance that your feature or inscription peruses: ââ¬Å"Almost half of kids donââ¬â¢t have breakfast before schoolâ⬠... ...your translation of that picture would be unique in relation to if that equivalent content read: ââ¬Å"How to reprimand your canine for eating your schoolwork, and other profitability hacksâ⬠. A similar picture can mean totally different things. The words you use with a picture places it into setting so you donââ¬â¢t need to think about whether the babyââ¬â¢s father was in prison or if the mother cherished Art Deco engineering. Prescribed Reading:à How To Design The Best Blog Graphics With Free Tools And Design Theory As a matter of fact, while scanning for stock pictures, we just have catchphrases to go on, and itââ¬â¢s extreme to discover pictures outside of the average domain of our hunt. A hunt on ââ¬Å"productivityâ⬠will turn up exhausting pictures of PCs, scratch pads, office scenes, etc. Youââ¬â¢ll pass up those fringe pictures that can mean various things in various settings except if you get great at scanning on conceptual words for large thoughts (which weââ¬â¢ll talk about in a piece). Tip: Use inscriptions with pictures, and consider subtitles that accomplish more than show where you got the picture. Suggest a conversation starter as a subtitle, one that the picture indicates to reply. Or on the other hand, use featured content or pull cites in the body of your blog entry that outline your pictures appropriately. Individuals who are skimming substance will see pictures, headings, and pull cites. On the off chance that they are all in relevant sync, the better for you. 3. Pictures pulled outside of any relevant connection to the subject at hand take on new setting. Quite a long while back, I was perusing a story online about a man who had been captured for manhandling kids after a serious manhunt. The story had just a single photograph, a little headshot of the journalist who composed the story. It was the newspaperââ¬â¢s practice to incorporate the headshot of the creator. The headshot was a couple of passages down, inserted in the content of the story, on the right. The issue was that there was no other photograph for the story. As this story was shared via web-based networking media, the strong feature that recounted a man who had carried out a horrendous wrongdoing against kids was related with a picture of the correspondent. By the following day, the headshot was pulled from the article, so this lamentable acknowledgment more likely than not happened to the paper, as well, however Iââ¬â¢d as of now observed the article shared via web-based networking media with the smiling correspondent close to the title text, hinting he was the crook. The primary guideline would be that you ought to consistently have a highlighted picture for each blog entry so your headshot or an irregular advertisement doesnââ¬â¢t become the picture via web-based networking media. In any case, thereââ¬â¢s more to it than that. A sharp or harmless picture that depends on the body duplicate of a blog entry may appear to be fine, however when it gets shared via web-based networking media, every one of that individuals may need to pass by is the feature and the picture. Is the correct setting still there? Like never before, feature clearness matters. Be that as it may, so features picture coordinate. Take a gander at your blog postââ¬â¢s highlighted picture, the one that you (and others) will be seeing when it is shared via web-based networking media. Is the setting all off-base? Is the message not what you anticipated? Tip: If need be, fuse words into your realistic itself (utilizing Canva.com maybe) so that any place the picture voyages, the setting does, as well. This is particularly useful if your blog entry subject is dubious or summons solid responses. Picking Powerful Images That Work It isnââ¬â¢t simple picking a picture to go with a blog entry, coordinating picture with message. More often than not is dedicated to the real blog entry, and itââ¬â¢s entirely basic to hurl a picture in as a bit of hindsight not long before you distribute. The picture, be that as it may, is accomplishing some genuine work, (for example, helping your blog entry get read on as of now picture soaked informal organizations), so you should give it genuine thought. Prescribed Reading:à How To Make The Best Blog Graphics (For Non-Designers) I thought of a couple of approaches to move toward settling on a choice about pictures you will use with your blog entries. Regardless of whether you utilize all or some from this rundown is up to you. 1. Your picture must stick out. Getting your picture to stand apart isnââ¬â¢t simple. Each interpersonal organization is overwhelmed with pictures. The strategies youââ¬â¢ll use to get your picture to stand apart are, essentially: Shading Alarming picture Utilizing humor. Amusingness is most likely the least demanding approach with regards to making a surprising picture that sticks out, yet when everybody does it...no one does it well sooner or later. This is especially the situation with images. I realize that a great deal of blog entries suggest utilizing images and other mainstream society pictures, however I recommend continuing with alert by they way you pick those sorts of pictures. Re-Examining the ââ¬ËStep-and-Slideââ¬â¢: Sex Differences in Pedestrian Collision Avoidance
Conceptual Past writing has detailed sex contrasts in impact shirking conduct by people on foot. The present investigation moan to build up whether these sex contrasts are as yet substantial currently by watching an open door test of male and female people on foot in a bustling area. A chi-square test found a noteworthy (p 01) connection among sex and crash shirking conduct. Specifically, ladies were fundamentally bound to take part in shut passes and men were essentially bound to take part in open passes. This finding is with regards to the example recently revealed by Collett and Marsh (1981). Future research is expected to comprehend why these sex contrasts may exist. Presentation In spite of frequently occupied and stuffed open regions, walkers can be watched exploring and keeping away from impacts without hardly lifting a finger. Past writing gives off an impression of being generally consistent in its perceptions and decisions about how people on foot can dodge impacts. In an early investigation, Goffman (1972) mentioned various objective facts including that individuals will in general structure two paths while strolling upon the asphalt, with one gathering strolling within, away from the street and the other gathering strolling outwardly and near the street. Numerous years after the fact, Collett and Marsh (1981) watched a similar wonder and begat the term ââ¬Ëpedestrian streaming.ââ¬â¢ It was likewise found that people will utilize othersââ¬â¢ developments and screen their expectations, known as ââ¬Å"externalisation,â⬠to guarantee a smoother entry. These developments might be oblivious or cognizant and may as be discrete as a slight turn of the shoulders. Once more, this wonder was additionally seen by Wolff (1973), who named it ââ¬Å"behaviour monitoring.â⬠Wolff (1973) saw that numerous walkers participate in what he begat the ââ¬Ëstep-and-slideââ¬â¢ pass, which included a slight calculating of the shoulders close by a discrete avoid. In the wake of recording the passing conduct of people utilizing a walker intersection, Collett and Marsh (1981) noted huge sex contrasts in the methodologies utilized while taking part in this sort of pass. Guys were unmistakably bound to utilize an open pass system by situating toward the individual they were attempting to maintain a strategic distance from while females were bound to utilize a shut pass procedure by arranging themselves away from the individual they were endeavoring to keep away from. Strikingly, the sorts of pass utilized couldn't enough be clarified by the common situation of the leg during passing and in any event, when it was progressively troublesome, ladies were still bound to utilize a shut pass. The scientists inferred that the utilization of a shut pass technique by ladi es was a case of self-defensive conduct. Specifically, the creators inferred that ladies were endeavoring to ensure their bosoms in the wake of seeing that they regularly drew their arms over their bodies during the pass. The consequence of Collett and Marshââ¬â¢s (1981) study may now be obsolete. Thusly, the present examination meant to research whether sex contrasts in impact evasion conduct despite everything exist today and whether the example despite everything mirrors that seen by Collett and Marsh (1981). In view of past writing it is theorized that females will make more shut goes than guys and that guys will utilize more open goes than females. MethodParticipants2,910 members (1,376 females, 1,534 guys) were watched utilizing an open door test. As this was a perception study it was not attainable to gather segment information, for example, age.MaterialsObservations were recorded on an information assortment lattice. The information assortment framework was utilized to record the sex of the passerby and whether an open pass, shut pass or unbiased pass was watched. Structure This was a between-subjects structure with male members being contrasted and female members. The indicator variable was the sex of the person on foot and the measure variable was the sort of passing conduct exhibited.ProcedureBefore gathering information for the examination a pilot study was completed to guarantee that the spectators could accurately recognize whether a walker was displaying an open pass, shut pass or impartial conduct. Information was gathered on an open door test of ten people on foot for the pilot study. For the principle study, information was gathered by watching people on foot at different train stations during top occasions. Two specialists gathered the information with one going about as spectator and the other going about as recorder. Perceptions depended on an open door test and a blend of male-male, female-female and female-male communications were recorded.ResultsA aggregate of 1,376 females and 1,534 guys were watched. Of the 1,376 females, 561 occupied with an open pass, though 815 occupied with a shut pass. Of the 1,534 guys watched, 1,070 occupied with an open pass, while 464 occupied with a shut pass. A chi-square test was performed and a huge relationship was found among sex and kind of crash evasion conduct X2 (1, N = 2910) = 247.32, p < 0.01. [Insert diagram here] Conversation The point of the present examination was to explore whether current sex contrasts in person on foot crash shirking conduct bolster past writing that has discovered females are bound to utilize shut passes, though guys are bound to utilize open passes while keeping away from one another in occupied walker zones. It was discovered that a larger number of ladies occupied with shut goes than men and that a greater number of men occupied with open goes than ladies. Factual investigation uncovered that there was a huge connection among sex and kind of impact evasion conduct. This implies ladies are fundamentally bound to take part in shut passes, though men are altogether bound to participate in open passes. This finding is on the side of past writing (Collett and Marsh, 1981) and the information bolsters the researchersââ¬â¢ theory. Collett and Marsh (1981) contended that females take part in shut goes trying to secure their bosoms since they saw that ladies regularly drew their arms over their chests during the pass. Be that as it may, later research has exhibited that even in non-angry, ordinary circumstances, females will in general demonstration shut positions while keeping their arms near their bodies (Cashdan, 1998; Vrugt and Luyerink, 2000). This proposes Collett and Marshââ¬â¢s (1981) starting understanding might be defective. Ladies may normally embrace shut non-verbal communication, which they are additionally liable to use during person on foot impact shirking situations. The finding that men are bound to utilize open passes is with regards to past writing on male non-verbal communication and non-verbal correspondence. For instance, Mehrabian (1968) found that men will in general show more readiness than ladies by coordinating their shoulder direction toward the other individual. This could clarify why men receive a vacant position and direct their shoulders toward the other individual while passing them. Luxen (2005) found that men will in general show social strength in circumstances including ladies. Turning their body toward a lady, while she dismisses, may mirror this strength. Consequently, the present discoveries can be deciphered with regards to sex contrasts in both non-verbal communication and non-verbal correspondence. It is hard to make any solid determinations from an observational examination and no one but inductions can be made. Notwithstanding, in view of the outcomes and what is thought about non-verbal communication, it seems like the sex contrasts in the manner that people dodge person on foot impacts despite everything exist today as they did during the 1980s. The outcomes additionally appear to help Collett and Marshââ¬â¢s (1981) end that ladies are bound to receive a defensive position when making goes in a crash evasion circumstance. The present examination had an eminent number of qualities. Essentially, this investigation used an enormous example, which is almost certain to be illustrative of the populace overall. Generalisability was additionally reinforced by utilizing diverse train station areas for perceptions. Moreover, having occurred in a common habitat as opposed to a lab setting, the outcomes have great biological legitimacy. Be that as it may, the perception strategy has various restrictions, which ought to be noted. Right off the bat, albeit a pilot study was completed so as to acclimate the onlooker with changed kinds of passes, the information would have been progressively solid if two eyewitnesses had been utilized at any one time. An elective technique for improving the investigation would need to been to video record the perception territory with the goal that a subsequent onlooker could decipher an indistinguishable situation of person on foot impact shirking. This would have given a proportion of between onlooker unwavering quality, which would have fortified the consequences of the examination. It is likewise conceivable that the onlooker was one-sided on the grounds that they knew about the investigation theory. At the end of the day, the onlooker may have deciphered females to have done progressively shut passes since this is what was normal dependent on the past writing. In future investigations, keeping the eyewitness heedless to the speculation of the examination will diminish this hazard. There are additionally some moral worries with huge scope perception studies, for example, this. For instance, a few people may protest being viewed and to their conduct being recorded. Nonetheless, with such an enormous scope study, it would have been difficult to have looked for the educated assent regarding every member. Information was additionally totally anonymised, which keeps the investigation inside moral limits. Despite the fact that the investigation has great generali sability, this is fairly debilitated by gathering results from just the UK. Future research may wish to concentrate on whether similar examples are found globally. In light of the discoveries of the present examination, future investigations may likewise wish to concentrate on investigating in more detail why these sex contrasts exist. For instance, an example of people showing these behaviou

Once upon a time
Once upon a time Last time, Jon asked, What kind of high school student were you? Did everyone always come to you for help, expect the best from you, etc?.did you like it or hate it? I think thats an interesting question, albeit with the caveat that memories are believed to be strongly modified by later experience. So Im going to try and cite from primary sources (that is to say, my high school journal) wherever possible. This might be somewhat challenging, considering how much of my high school journal is concerned with boys, but Ill try valiantly to pick out the pieces that arent about being boy-crazy. First of all, this was me in high school. I think I look pretty much the same as I do now, which pretty much ensures that I always get carded when I buy beer. I went to the Massachusetts RMV to get a drivers permit a few weeks ago, and the lady said, You have to have a co-signer if youre under 18. I was like, I AM TWENTY-TWO AND FIVE-TWELFTHS. My high school was a decent suburban Ohio public high school; it wasnt superb and it wasnt terrible. My graduating class had 530 kids in it, but there was a small core of smart kids who had been together ever since gifted class in fourth grade. My high school was pretty well-known for the performing arts, and I was heavily involved in them I was the only kid in my year to make the play and the musical all four years of high school, the only girl to make the competitive show choir my junior year, and the captain of the 40-member flag corps which accessorized the 300-member band. I primarily ran around in the band/choir/theatre circle. My friends and I were all smart, but we were better-known for being good singers/actors/instrumentalists. I was popular within the performing arts crowd (which, remember, was about 500 kids strong!), and I personally didnt care one way or another whether the other crowds knew I existed or not. (When I was in elementary school, one of the other kids caught me reading the dictionary, and everybody teased me mercilessly for the rest of third grade. This tends to instill in people either a never-ending desire for popularity or complete apathy toward what other people think. I chose not to care about the opinions of people who werent my friends.) My senior year, our musical was Crazy for You, and for the show I had to wear stilettos and a backless slinky gown and sing a rather provocative song. I got a lot of unwanted attention from the popular boys after that. It was mortifying. (Although I did look damn good in the dress.) I had always liked school, but I never did anything so I could get into college. Im just naturally a perfectionist, and I liked getting As. I was also known as someone who would help anybody with homework most of the time during choir performances or theatre show week, youd find me backstage with some confused person, making drawings about cell division or correcting the grammar in an English paper. My journal says Theres only one Latin III class, so Ali and Sarah [my best friends] and I can kick butt together ok, I can kick butt and do their work for them so it looks like they kick butt. I put myself under tremendous pressure to get As in high school, although that doesnt mean I actually spent all that much time doing homework. I was good at cutting the corners that needed to get cut, which was good, because I was taking a challenging courseload and doing a zillion extracurriculars at once and generally had a few too many irons in the fire. From the journal: I am so thoroughly sick of being so busy! I feel like Im being pulled in twenty different directions: the play, band, ITK [quiz team], Chorale [show choir], English, Biology, Genetics, college applications the problem with being a polymath is that everyone feels they have the right to a slice of my time. I know I got myself into this, and theres nothing I would give up but oh, for some time to myself! Haha, that sounds a lot like something I would have said at the end of last semester. I still like the time juggling act, even if it gets exhausting after a while. Questions 1. Anonymous asked, When did you learn to rejoice when you made average grades? When did your mind set change? You know, Im not entirely sure. I know it had happened by the beginning of second semester, but Im not sure when in first semester it happened. (First semester of my freshman year is kind of a blur for me my high school boyfriend and I were having problems and then broke up, so the whole semester is just a blur of angry phone calls, late nights, and work work work.) 2. Charlotte asked, Some people choose practicality over passion in selecting courses because they feel that whatever theyre interested in can easily be read in books anyway and therefore the only thing that counts is the final grade. So what will make a course far more rewarding than mere reading? Ive always found it much easier to learn from lectures than just from books, because I find it easier to learn when the salient points are picked out for me firsthand. There are some things in science that are confusing, but theyre much easier to get when somebody is telling you which details are critical and which details are just window dressing. Some people are better at learning from books and Im very jealous of them! 3. Katie 10 asked, This might seem kind of random, but I was just wondering if we really need extra long bed sheets. Ive heard from a few college students around here that they are actually too long for their beds and that they could have bought regular sheets. Well, I always used twin XL sheets, and they fit just fine. I never tried regular-length sheets, though, so I dont know how well they would work. And Christina, a full-size comforter will be fine you will want as much comforter as possible for the Boston winters! :) 4. Adriane 10 asked Im currently planning on majoring in course 2, but how easy is it to take classes in neuroscience outside of ones major? Its pretty easy to take classes outside your major in general at MIT, and course 9 classes are no exception. Most classes have a formal prerequisite, but a) prereqs are rarely strictly enforced at MIT, so you should take whatever you feel comfortable with taking, and b) if you take 9.01 and/or 24.900, you can take most classes in the department. 5. Anon asked, You are in neuroscience, right? Im looking at MIT undergrad, and saw this in the Boston Globe online today In a letter responding to professors who wanted MIT to investigate the senior professors treatment of the job recruit, Hockfield said there are ongoing tensions among MITs neuroscience entities and suggested that the current situation threatens ongoing disruption of the collegiality of our academic enterprise. The letter, dated Monday, was obtained by the Globe. Is this just jostling between profs, or does it affect undergrad students too? If you work with one prof, will others resent it and not help you or give you good recs? Oh god, thats totally just professor politics. Undergrads are definitely not involved in that sort of stuff if you work with one prof that somebody else doesnt like, it wont affect his or her opinion of you in the least. (And to be honest, I dont see any unusual political maneuverings within the department the kinds of disagreements which occur between faculty members in the MIT BCS department occur in every other department in every other academic institution in the world. Unfortunate as it is, professors are people too, and when they interact with each other they can be small-minded, petty people.)

Cultural Critique on the Internet Free Essays
Through the onset of industrialization, countries all over the world had experienced remarkable changes in its society. Sophisticated technologies, gadgets and facilities had been made available to man. These inventions, which are results of manââ¬â¢s work, pave the way to the societyââ¬â¢s advancements. We will write a custom essay sample on Cultural Critique on the Internet or any similar topic only for you Order Now One of the most remarkable artifacts that the new milieu brought into picture is the internet. The advent of the internet came into vision ââ¬Å"when people in the early 1960s saw great potential value in allowing computers to share information on research and development in scientific and military fieldsâ⬠(Brief History of the Internet). J. C. R. Licklider was said to be the pioneering person of the internet. In 1962, he proposed a global network of computers and work to develop it (Brief History of the Internet). The initial efforts of Licklider had inspired other people to participate in designing and bringing internet into a complete picture. The theory of pocket switching developed by Leonard Kleinrock ââ¬Ëforms the basis of internet connections. ââ¬â¢ In the year 1969, ARPANET (initial name given to internet) was brought on line. It was first used to connect four Universities in the United States to provide a channel for research communication and exchange. Early times of internet use and connection were very complex. Furthermore, the used of the internet was only limited to education, government and research use. Commercial used of the internet was then prohibited. This prohibition was put to an end when the ââ¬Ëdot-com boomââ¬â¢ in the second half of 1990ââ¬â¢s hit the stock market and media (Gozzi Jr. 470). Investments for the commercialization of the internet were in demand during these years. It was also during these times when Microsoft had its ââ¬Ëfull scale entry into browser, server and Internet Service Provider market completed the shift t a commercially based Internetââ¬â¢ (A Brief History of the Internet). As seen today, the internet industry or the ââ¬Ëdot-comââ¬â¢ economy is continuously growing and taking an advance step everyday. The definition as well as the description of the internet was finalized and passed as a resolution on October 24, 1995. The following statement provides the definition and description of the internet: RESOLUTION: The Federal Networking Council (FNC) agrees that the following language reflects our definition of the term ââ¬Å"Internetâ⬠. ââ¬Å"Internetâ⬠refers to the global information system that ââ¬â (i) is logically linked together by a globally unique address space based on the Internet Protocol (IP) or its subsequent extensions/follow-ons; (ii) is able to support communications using the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) suite or its subsequent extensions/follow-ons, and/or other IP-compatible protocols; and (iii) provides, uses or makes accessible, either publicly or privately, high level services layered on the communications and related infrastructure described herein (Leiner et al n. p). This technology grants mechanism to people throughout the globe to process and relay information without regard for geographic location. It has been a channel for communication, business, community operations and education. It opened the possibilities of on line learning and business negotiation and made the life of individuals to be modern and sophisticated. Through the onset of this technology, advancement in the society and manââ¬â¢s culture also took place. The benefits that this technology bring is said to be limitless and essential. However, at present times, people seem to abuse the used of the internet. Such abuse initiated the negative implications and harm of the said artifact to the society as a whole. The internet has also brought succor to the lives of many people in economically less developed countries that have a somewhat substandard educational system. This is by way of accessing the online learning materials of world-class universities around the world. They are able to access up-to-date information on almost all subjects and upgrade their knowledge. The community had too much relied on the features of the internet. In an article written by Greenblatt, he argued that the rise of the internet had negatively affected traditional television (149). It is feared that the internet would eventually kill television as it does in the music industry and in the print media. Competition between traditional television and the internet arises. It was noted in the article of Greenblatt that people spend less time in viewing the television than they do in the net. Through on line streaming, watching sports, concert of artists, etc is now possible. It is showed that the traditional way of watching (i. e. with the use of television) had been altered due to internet boom. While it can be said that the presence of internet provides the benefit for individuals to watch programs in their most convenient time, it is still unfair because other industries suffer. Too much dependence of the public to the internet had brought the problem of unfair competition. Peopleââ¬â¢s way of socializing was also altered through the use of the internet. The usual way of meeting and knowing a particular person had been changed. Most people use the internet to meet and socialize with new people. This has been made possible through the use of chat rooms as well as other internet sites like friendster. The value of having friends is not the main question being posed. The threat for such sites and chat rooms is the opportunity for on line prostitution and other crimes to take place (Clemmitt 450). The internet had (in no doubt) expanded prostitution, bringing it available not only on the area where a certain prostitute lives but also in nearby cities or town. The invention of the internet has also given rise to a new kind of addiction, which is online porn addiction where ââ¬Ëthereââ¬â¢s no doubt that some peopleââ¬â¢s porn consumption gets them in trouble ââ¬â in the form of maxed-out credit cards, lost sleep, neglected responsibilities, or neglected loved onesââ¬â¢ (Martin F. Downs). Violent acts of children are also partly blamed on the internet. On line games which most children and youngsters play depict violence which eventually changes their psychological behavior. The increase in violent acts of these youngsters eventually contributes to an increase in crime. Early exposure of these youngsters to act of violence and other adult materials can bring unfavorable effect to their perception about the reality. Addiction to these on line games had also reduced their time for physical activities therefore bringing the problem of obesity. ââ¬ËDr Robinson from the British Nutrition foundation said 40% of boys and 60% of girls were found to spend less than the recommended one hour per day in physical activityââ¬â¢ (BBC News). Moreover, child pornography on the internet is one of the bad practices that the internet has been able to cultivate. Aside from children being used as prostitutes, other young children also visit pornographic sites. This does untold psychological damage to these children as they do not know what is right and what is not. They are sometimes compelled to practice what they have seen, thereby contributing to the increasing level of moral decadence. Also the danger of teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases and other forms of bad deeds has been blown out of proportion by exposure to the internet. The most controversial and frightening contribution of the internet is the opportunity that it provides for act of terrorism. Terrorist are availing the opportunity to connect with the internet and used this artifact as a propaganda tool (Anderson 25). Acts of terrorism can now be perpetuated now, easier than before with the use of the internet. The most benign way of this act is the production of malicious softwares in the form of computer viruses, worms, Trojans and crawlers. This causes instability of these computer machines, to the detriment of the user. every machine that is connected to the internet is potentially a broad casting station, a printing press or a place of assembly, terrorists can now disseminate their information undiluted by the media and untouched by government censors. In the past, the al-Quaeda had benefited from the extensive use of the internet not until their network was intercepted. The following statement, which basically tackles on how terroristsââ¬â¢ actions were improved through the aid of the internet, was cited in Andersonââ¬â¢s work (2003). ââ¬Å"Using the Internet for communication can increase speed of mobilization and allow more dialogue between members, which enhances the organizationââ¬â¢s flexibility, since tactics can be adjusted more frequently. Individuals with a common agenda and goals can form subgroups, meet at a target location, conduct terrorist operations, and then readily determine their relationships and re-disperseâ⬠(27). Documents accessed through internet connection also provided the Al-Queada to obtain details regarding the design lay out of the World Trade Center which contributed to the success of making their plans. The Al-Queada group had developed their action in using the internet as a tool for terrorism. It is alarming to think that future terrorists would follow the step taken by the mentioned group and may even develop more powerful and sophisticated programs that would aid in the threat of terrorism. The internet had initiated the risk of cyber terrorism. Internetââ¬â¢s role in shaping todayââ¬â¢s culture is indeed remarkable and at the same time threatening. Pioneers of the internet may have the pure intention to bring the world in the state of modernization. However, it is sad to know that upon the onset of modernization comes the threat and harm that the internet posed. Overuse, misuse and overdependence of people in this technology will in no doubt bring several detrimental effects. As discussed from the examples above, actions of people as well as their cultural identity are negatively being altered by the mere presence of the internet. The world is increasingly been described as being ââ¬Ëwesternisedââ¬â¢ since everyone, especially the youth, are increasingly turning to the way of life of the Americans and Europeans. The internetââ¬â¢s original purpose of making information accessible, sharing this information in a fast pace and making long distance communication possible had been abusively used by some people therefore bringing a negative impact on the societyââ¬â¢s culture. Our world nowadays is continuously progressing and accompanying this progress is the innovation of new artifacts. Truly, these new artifacts had taken a vital role in shaping our societyââ¬â¢s culture as well as shaping the minds of people. These innovations would be more likely to be inevitable. Every new artifact is invented to somehow benefit and bring people a comfortable way of living, however, one should not overlook the harm that these new artifacts may bring. Every time that we take a step towards advancement comes the opportunity for societal and cultural change. These changes bring forth several issues and problems that are more likely to have negative outcomes. The internet has had its effects on society at present and it will have its effects in the future. The future of the internet is faced with the question on how management of change and evolution would be done. The internet has got the potential of turning the world to a single-culture, single language world. This would have far reaching effects as it would eliminate the numerous world cultures that have been built since the beginning of time. All the ancient civilizations are still visible today because they have been preserved in one way or the other. Because of this, people travel to these locations as tourists. In this way, the memories are kept alive. The rate the internet craze is going, this trend is likely to be reversed since people can see these locations on the screens of their computers. Let us not keep ourselves to be tongue tied and see how the negative outcomes abolish our cultural and societal identity. We should act on this matter. Action, they say, is louder than voice. There is detail mention on the inputs, outputs and outcomes and the socio political environment required for the health and safety. The chapter will also mention about the ways of evaluation and the choices that one has to be made in order to design a health system plan (Perkins,et al 2015). Health care system framework will include the system that involves finance, workforce and processes. In broader way it requires the socio political environment. The outputs and outcomes will depend on the personal point of view in how they treat their patients. The outcome will be based on improving the quality in health care. The health care system will be evaluated with respect to the quality of service they provide (Hall 2015). The health safety framework will be designed on the basis of needs and demands in different organization. The need in health and safety is not the aim but can be defined with the context of social and political issues. There are several laws and health policies that can shape any design of the health safety in health care. The need should be converted into demand which can then induce the supply of the best quality health care safety (Osborn,et al 2015). The key design will link to the separation between the purchasing, funding and provision of health servi ces. There is always challenge in terms of acquiring the best health care services. The choice of the customer to acquire any health care service will relate to the services provided by the health care providers. It also depends on the characteristics of the interaction between the consumer and the health service providers in the ground of diagnosis and treatment. The texts will be useful to build up strength in the research of improving the quality of health care service (Drummond et al 2015). The following text can be when critically evaluated and the strengths can be recognized. The important strength is that the chapter will be useful to give all the factors and the necessary ingredients required in the building up a framework of plan. The plan will be strong enough to guard the safety in the health care (Iedema, Mesman and Carroll 2013). Mossialos, E., Wenzl, M., Osborn, R. and Anderson, C., 2015. International profiles of health care systems. The Commonwealth Fund, 2016. This journal will give in brief the major challenges confronted by the health care systems in Australia. One such challenge highlighted is the challenge with the funding and delivery of health care. There has been a growing burden of chronic illness. This has hit the inertia in reforming the health care system. The health care system must cast their main focus on the management of the chronic illness. The health care facilities must improve in the primary, acute and rehabilitative services. This will provide the innovative ways of developing health care facilities to remote and rural communities (Lawton et al 2014).Accounting. The challenges must be approached strategically to initiate a strong health care facility in Australia. Remote communities often face challenges regarding the communication errors. The next major challenge faced is the rise in the health care costs. There has been leap in the diagnostic and therapeutic advance, techniques for the minimal use of the surgical pro cedures. Thus quality must be ensured while coming with the issues regarding the use of the advanced techniques in the medical care (Sallis, Owen and Fisher 2015). In relationship with the field of research in health care safety, the texts will give the ways to improve the challenge regarding the communication problems. The ways of funding in health care systems are also mentioned in the texts. (Harrison et al 2015) In the context of explanation with the challenges, the texts will sum up the ways to ensure the equality in delivering health care. Statistically, it has shown that the health care must be fair to poor. The texts has pin pointed 8 major challenges in the health care safety in Australia. It is also clearly mentioned that all the challenges can be reduced with the need of leadership, wisdom, courage to engage the effective measures taken during the health care safety (Manias et al 2014). The strength of the texts is that it has highlighted the major challenges faced during the health care development plan. The texts have also suggested a clear view of the steps that Australian health care system must take in order to face the challenges. However, the texts have the major drawback as it does not suggest any plan for the funding of the health program plan. Powell Davies, G., Harris, M., Perkins, D., Roland, M., Williams, A., Larsen, K. and McDonald, J., 2017. Coordination of care within primary health care and with other sectors: a systematic review. This peer review will summarize all the possible strategies that can be taken in order to improve the coordination of care. This is an important issue with regards to the safety in a health system. It also gives the systemic ways to improve the health safety conditions in Australia with respect to the countries with comparable health systems. With relation to the research, they have made studies through the main electronic databases. A pivot study was conducted to find the integration, coordination and the multidisciplinary caring services in Australian health care units. It was a like a survey program that was done to find the administrative rules in the health care system. The questions will directly satisfy the conditions of health safety defined with the coordination care, patient satisfaction, and economic outcomes. Then the survey test was analyzed statistically. Thus we will be useful in research to develop a map for the plan of the improvement in the quality of the health care safety system in Australia. With the explanation in the challenges mainly faced in the coordination of care services that the health care delivers, the texts will a good solution. The survey based research that was made, it will give the current scenario of the main factors that contribute to the health care safety. In coordination care, they were required to find the communication between the service providers and the patients, use of the support systems in a coordination of care, coordination of the clinical activities, support system in funding and management, the agreement between the organizations (Fitzpatrick and Ellingsen 2013). The major strength of the texts is that it will deliver a survey based approach to find out the current condition of Australian health care system with respect to some selected countries with the same status Of health facilities. The final section has also discussed the results and the implications of the Australian health policy in health care (DAndreamatteo,et al 2015). The drawback of the texts is that it lacks to give the proper research strategy to reduce the outcome of the administrative problems with the health care systems in Australia. It has also not given about the strategies that one might take in order to implement certain Australian policies to start a health care plan effectively. The care and coordination improvement rules are also lacking in the texts. Edwards, A., Evans, R., White, P. and Elwyn, G., 2011. Experiencing patient-experience surveys: a qualitative study of the accounts of GPs. Br J Gen Pract, 61(585), pp.e157-e166. The following grey literature will give the measure of the quality of health care in any organization. The review says that experience level of the patient data will reflect upon the quality of the safety dimension in health care, clinical safety, and effectiveness. The health safety outcomes can only be measured with respect to the patient experience data sheet. Thus any research that will begin on the increasing in the health quality should be first checked with the patient feedback (Magill et al 2014). The National Safety and Quality Health Standards have started a policy on Partnering with Consumers. The rules here are set by the Australian Commission for safety and Quality health care. In the field of research, it will be helpful to find techniques to overcome the challenges by surveying the patients. This will thus be used to develop a health care plan on finding the reason that causes the dissatisfaction in the patients. The strength of the literature is that it gives the ways the advent of social media, health services are now under the help to find out the satisfaction among the patients. The health policies in safety can only be well implemented with the use of the internet services. The data collected from the patients will reflect the level of satisfaction in the quality of the health care. Thus it will help to set up a guideline to increase the health care quality in safety (Gauld et al 2014). The needs of the policy making will further guide the outcome of the result. The weakness in this literature is that is do not suggest any strategic plan regarding the different challenges that subjects to the problems in improvement in health care. The health care policy started by the quality control of Australia can only gather consumer views and implement certain plans to overcome it. The literature could not give the techniques that can be used to improve the safety quality in different challenges. I t has also failed to serve the job of giving a proper guidance in using other advanced internet services to look into the views of the patients.
